About Us
Tina & Tanya
Summerville, South Carolina, USA

We are a couple of girls that love God. We have been changed by his awesome Spirit. We feel like God wants us to share with any and everyone that they can have a life of peace and joy despite their circumstances or surroundings. We love to study The Word of God. We have realized that is the only way we can draw strength. Anybody can pray. Prayer works. But when we Pray the Word of God it has even more authority and is able to demolish any stronghold that the devil tries to bring. We can testify of God's love and His mercy. We believe God is going to use us to make a difference in this world. Not because of who we are but because of who we allow Him to be through us. We love people. God loves people. His desire is that we prosper and have a great future. It is our choice! We choose his ways and not our ways.

God is so good. And His love is so amazing and so beyond my comprehension. To know that He loved us so much that He willing suffered greatly, all to give us the opportunity to share in His love. And yet we complain when we are required to give just a little. Wow, what an amazing God to love us and to have such mercy on us, when I am sure that we have rebelled against His desires and disappointed the very One who created us and gave us life. I mean what does your heart REALLY desire?? And what/who is truly FIRST in your life?? If you know God, how much do you really love Him??

Thank You Sweet Jesus!!
The conference was wonderful! It was enlightening and enjoyable; worth all of the hard work. It will definitely not be our last. In fact, we are talking about having a Mens Conference. We also enjoyed the drama and praise dances. We're thinking of having a Praise gathering every quarter. We want to use local talent. There are so many talented people surrounding us. The youth groups are inspiring as they worship.

We are just excited to see what God is going to do next. It won't be long and we'll be celebrating a new year! This year has flown by. As we stand back and take a glance over everything that has taken place, it seems almost impossible. It does however make us glad that we don't know the details of our future. Our faith that God will take us through whatever comes our way has grown. Even though sometimes it seems it would make life easier if we knew, at the same time it would no doubt be overwhelming. God will not allow Satan to tempt us without making a way for us to escape.

No matter what life brings, no matter the bends in the road or the mountains we climb, WE CAN MAKE IT WITH THE HELP OF GOD!

As I type this Tanya is addressing "Thank You cards". The poor girl is obviously tired. She did the envelope up-side down. We have discovered that you can choose, according to the dictionary, which way you want to spell worshipping. You can use double or single P. Imagine that! I hope one day she will be able to spell AWESOME. She always forgets the E (awsome).

Today is my husbands 37th birthday! Happy Birthday Bobby! We celebrated at home with family. I cooked spaghetti. I almost asked Tanya how to spell that. Then I realized it would probably be wrong.(ha ha) Anyway, it was a nice dinner. Great fellowship. We have a crazy family. Very entertaining.

I am starting to get very sleepy. Tanya is delirious. That probably means we need to go to bed.

Isn't great to know that tomorrow will be packed with new grace and mercy! God knows I need all I can get. If I had to use it sparingly, I'd be in trouble.

Good Night! Till we meet again.

It is truly amazing to finally discover the difference between knowing about God and truly having that personal relationship with God. You can learn about Him and go through the religous motions, but when you experience a true relationship with Him it is definitely life changing. Being one of the people who used to listen to someone speakwhile thinking "I don't understand what they are talking about," I can say that if you are thinking this same thing then you may need to ask God to help you with your Relationship because there is definitely a difference. Ephesians 3:19 says "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God." Coming in contact with the love of God will be the only way that you will ever be complete. (Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.) As I was encouraged to seek God in a time of distress when no one or no thing was able to fulfill the empty place inside of me (even though I knew ABOUT God but did not have a RELATIONSHIP with God), I encourage you to daily seek a closer relationship with God. Once you have really tasted of HIS goodness, HIS grace, HIS mercy and HIS love, you will only want more of Him which will in turn draw you closer in your relationship to Him. Seek God and allow him to fulfill and complete you.

Glory to Glory
I (Tina), took this picture at Cypress Gardens. The butterfly had just "hatched" from it's cocoon. It had not even tried it's wings! It still amazes me when I think of how they go through metamorphosis. We're like that too. I can look back and remember a time when my confidence was quite low. To even think of speaking in a large group scared me to death. I would stand to sing and be scared to death. Leading worship for the church back then seemed impossible. My grandmother always quoted Phil. 4:13 to me. Now, I can honestly say my confidence has changed. I've been metamorphosed. I realize that with Christ in me, I can do all things. So my confidence has grown in him. When I am weak, he is strong. I've discovered my wings! God has given me beautiful wings and through faith in him I have flown places I never dreamed possible! With God ALL things are possible.Tina

We had an awesome summer vacation with our hubbies and children. The kids (Tina's 3 girls and Tanya's 1 boy), kept things very interesting. We hiked about 8 miles at Table Rock state park. The next day we could hardly walk. But the view and being able to say we did it was worth it. It's amazing to look out from the mountain top. The different shades of green and the slopes and hills were simply gorgeous. God sure can paint a beautiful picture and we are all blessed to enjoy it!

Yesterday was the first day we went visiting. We felt like we needed to go and minister to a friend. This was very new territory for both of us. We prayed on the way to calm our anxieties. The flesh tried to express the impossibilities, but we overcame in Jesus' name! It was an awesome experience. We know there is so much for us to do. Everyday God is challenging us even more. We are up for it! What an exhilarating feeling to know that God is working through you to help heal his people! Thank God for our obedience. We look forward to many more opportunities to share how awesome God truly is.

We are often amazed to hear people everywhere talk about the battles they are facing. We are so different and when we stand back and look at one another it would be easy to assume that some people just "have it all together" while others are "struggling" just to stay afloat. This world is so full of stress and anxiety. Everywhere you turn you feel like your pressed to do something and often times it must be in a hurry. There is so much confusion and turmoil that goes on in our minds. When we lay down at night our mind is so bumfuzzled that we can't seem to get a good nights rest. We become so concerned with figuring out tomorrow that we waste today. If we would only take a moment. Step back, and consider that most of the "stuff" we think about, really isn't that important. We can choose how we feel. We can choose from the moment our eyes pop open what kind of day we are going to have. We have been giving the idea that our circumstances, (the things that happen to us daily) are the things that make us who we are. Really, it's our reaction to those circumstances and situations (life) that makes us, or breaks us. We can purpose in our mind that, "today will be a good day, a productive day, and a peaceful day. Then we have to refuse to think anything otherwise. The things that we face are one of three things:

1. The harvest of something we have sown in the past.

2. An opposition of Satan

3. Life-life is what happens while your making plans

When you are facing struggles you need to stop and try to figure out, why. Sometimes it's obvious. Sometimes it's not so easy. At any rate, whether it's the result of something we've done, an attack of the enemy, or just everyday life, we can choose how we will react. We can also determine to learn a lesson that not only will help us, but those that we come in contact with. Your mind is a battlefield. Jesus Christ was crucified on a hill called "Golgatha" otherwise known as "The place of the Skull". We have to crucify every thought that exalts itself against God (2 Corinthians 10:5). We have to crucify the flesh daily in our mind (our place of the skull). We can have the victorious life that Jesus died to give. It's our choice. The benefits of Christ are free to all who believe. Love, joy, peace, and contentment are available to us everyday. We have to choose (Philippians 4:4-9). The only way we can effectively defeat the devil is through Christ and the weapons he has given to us. When we use The Word of God and Prayer, Satan has to flee. Submitting to God, that is, being an active viable component to His work in you, and using the dynamite power of praying His Word will send the devil running (James 4:7). Fill your mind with heavenly thoughts!(Colossians 3:2)

Ephesians 2:8,9

Colossians 1:19-22
